Primacoustic Nimbus Acoustic Cloud with Anchors and Wire, Arctic White
Primacoustic’s collection of absorptive acoustic clouds are a tasteful and unobtrusive option for reducing reverberations and improving intelligibility, in any space. The range of unique shapes and sizes on offer opens the door for architects, designers and installers to present clients with creative solutions that are bold, yet architecturally pleasing. The Clouds are designed to hang from the ceiling, capturing ambient energy by absorbing sound as it hits the face of the panel, all while trapping powerful reflections from the ceiling on the back side of the panel. They can also be used as baffles or wall panels, depending on the situation.
The Primacoustic Acoustic Cloud range includes the circular Halo, the hexagonal Hexus, the square Altos, and rectangular Nimbus. All panels are made from 1.5″ (3.8cm) thick, high-density 6lb per cubic foot (96 kg/m³) glass wool for exceptionally even absorption. Each is completely encapsulated in micromesh with resin hardened edges. The acoustic panel is then covered in either Broadway acoustically transparent fabric or coated in Primacoustic’s proprietary Absolute White paintable finish. This paintable textured surface enables one to lightly spray paint the panels on-site to match the surrounding décor without affecting acoustical performance.
As with all Primacoustic panels, the Clouds are laboratory tested for acoustic performance as well as fire safety, achieving the most stringent Class-A/1 rating in North America and Class-B in Europe, making them safe for use in all types of installations.
The Clouds can be suspended horizontally from the ceiling, in spaces such as restaurants, lobbies, gymnasiums or any other space where discreet acoustic treatment is desired. Installation is easy. Each kit includes two high-density glass wool panels and plus the hardware required to mount them as horizontal suspended clouds. The Panels can also be wall mounted using Surface Impalers or installed as vertically hanging baffles using Corkscrew anchors (sold separately).
